Hi! I am Brook Kathryn,

The art of photography played a huge role in my childhood as my mother was a photojournalist for the military, I got to try out her cameras and navigate Photoshop at a early age. In fact, ever since I was a little girl I have always had a camera of sorts in my hand along with my HUGE imagination usually consisting of fairies, centaurs, folklore & every magical thing there was to think of! About a year and a half ago I decided to take the plunge and fully enter the world of photography. Passionate storytelling through candid moments is what I absolutely love about it. Everyone has a story to tell. Everyone deserves timeless moments beautifully captured to last a lifetime. I am eager and ready to do just that for you! Becoming a parent and having taught preschool in the past has also given me talents like patience and management. I've come to love working with families, especially to capture little ones on the move!

I am a published photographer currently living in Des Moines, Iowa. With Oregon being home base!

When I am not working I am usually spending time with my family (my five beautiful children & husband who's name is also Brook!) or off discovering a new trail of some sort. Traveling and nature play a huge role in my life & have helped me to appreciate all different forms of beauty.
